Every year in the City of Poznan there is a special offer city-wide that’s called Poznan za Pol Ceny (Poznan for Half Price). With each passing time this happens more and more restaurants, hotels and other venues join the offer thus creating very attractive time for tourists to visit the city. This time I decided to try if this half-price offer actually works, and how.

Święty Marcin

Św. Marcin (St. Martin) is probably one of the most important streets in the City of Poznan. Those that come to visit sooner or later, knowingly or not, see it. The question I am asking myself here now, however, is “Is this really how we – the inhabitants of Poznan – want this street to look like?”

Ptasie Radio Café

Last time when CaffeineSpotter was online this was the coffee spot we started with. This is most probably because it was our top favourite café in the City of Poznan. Located somewhat further from the old town square than it usually happens and also one of the first we found that was decorated so nicely while preserving the affordable prices and a pleasant service.

Poznan Glowny City Centre

Soon I am going to have an opportunity to train-travel across Poland. I am not a great fun of such journeys but hey – if you want to get to the other side of the country you need to do it somehow. And since the newly built train station in Poznan is still under development it only seemed right to have at least a note about this project here.
