Quite some time ago we had this idea to have a blog about Cafés in the City of Poznan. Made some simple and clear graphics, had it organized and all. It was fun! Photographs to have it more appealing to the eye. Until it got the slightest bit of popularity. Then the host decided that this site was somehow causing little traffic and closed it without any single trace of notice. When I tried to discuss what could be done to recover the page they told me that this is not gonna happen.
This is how the initial CaffeineSpotter lost all its data. All photographs are still on my disk but what we wrote and all the webpage’s layout got lost because of this. This is what you get for hosting a webpage on a free service. So, since we have lost practically all we had created this is a new start. Page is hosted on wordpress.com. Specifically designed for blogs. This is the new beginning. We will still post café reviews, maps and photos here for all to see what can be missed in Poznan if you are not looking close enough.
