Every year in the City of Poznan there is a special offer city-wide that’s called Poznan za Pol Ceny (Poznan for Half Price). With each passing time this happens more and more restaurants, hotels and other venues join the offer thus creating very attractive time for tourists to visit the city. This time I decided to try if this half-price offer actually works, and how.

Starbucks @ MM
Yeah I know… most people know how Starbucks coffee tastes and so on and so forth. I, however, believe that each coffee spot has something unique, even if it belongs to a gargantuan series of cafes all over the planet. Well, this is Starbucks. Behold.

Cafe Bumerang
I don’t usually go to coffee spots located right on the Old Market Square of the City of Poznan. One of the reason is that they are usually a little more pricey (which is understandable) and the other that they often are less, how to put it, creative.

Chilli Cafe
There is this one thing about the Old Market Square in the City of Poznan that always baffled me. For some magical reason there can be something technically easy to find but yet you never see it. This is the case of the Chilli Cafe I visited recently. Right by the very heart of Poznan but for some reason empty and hard to find at the same time.

U Mnie Czy U Ciebie
I have visited quite a few cafés in Poznan City recently but didn’t have time to write about it. Now I face a wall of photographs I made and think which one to choose now. Trocadero
Not very long ago we were heading to the Ptasie Radio Café for a simple coffee. On our way our eyes caught the banner of Trocadero. Literally 10 seconds before the entrance to the Ptasie Radio. Since it has been AGES since we’ve been there for the last time we considered it practically a new spot. Without much thinking we entered, obviously, to check how the things were going.

Święty Marcin
Św. Marcin (St. Martin) is probably one of the most important streets in the City of Poznan. Those that come to visit sooner or later, knowingly or not, see it. The question I am asking myself here now, however, is “Is this really how we – the inhabitants of Poznan – want this street to look like?”
